Savannah- Lillian S. Wheeler, 86, passed away Saturday, March 20, 2010 at Bryan County Health and Rehabilitation in Richmond Hill.
Born in Boston, Massachusetts on January 7, 1924, she was one of nine children. She lived in Savannah most of her life and was a long time communicant of St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church. Her husband, Frederick R. Wheeler, Sr. and son Frederick R. Wheeler, Jr., preceded her in death.
She is survived by three sisters, Geraldine J. Stout of Savannah, Jacqueline S. Butler of Richmond Hill and Beverly Ann Shabo of Boston.
Visitation: 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 24, 2010 at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel.
Mass of Christian Burial: 11:00 a.m., Thursday, March 25, 2010 at St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church.
Burial: Catholic Cemetery.
